Brundle

Brundle is a free-to-play daily and weekly image-guessing puzzle game. Optional paid features — additional guesses and relay membership — are available for purchase using Bitcoin Lightning payments. The free daily puzzle is available to all users without payment or account registration.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.

All payments are made in Bitcoin over the Lightning Network. Lightning payments settle instantly and are final and irreversible. We do not offer refunds under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

• Unused guess credits
• Unused membership days
• Service outages or downtime
• Dissatisfaction with puzzle content
• Accidental purchases

By completing a Lightning payment you acknowledge that you understand the no-refund policy and that the payment is final. If a payment settles but your balance is not credited, contact us with your invoice ID and we will investigate within a reasonable time.

Brundle uses the Nostr protocol for optional account functionality. Your Nostr key pair is generated and controlled entirely by you. WesternBTC never receives or stores your private key. You are solely responsible for the security of your private key. Loss of your private key means loss of access to your account — we cannot recover it.

You may use any compatible Nostr signing method (browser extension, remote signer, or nsec key). By signing in you authorise Brundle to read your public key and publish events to Nostr relays on your behalf as part of normal game operation.

You agree not to:

• Attempt to cheat, circumvent, or abuse the game mechanics
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to submit guesses
• Attempt to access, modify, or interfere with the server, database, or APIs in an unauthorised manner
• Reverse-engineer puzzles before they are revealed
• Exploit payment processing or balance crediting in bad faith
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any account found in violation of these terms without refund.

By using Brundle, you acknowledge that gameplay analytics — including your guesses, round data, Nostr pubkey (if logged in), and user agent — are published as public Nostr events. These events are broadcast to decentralised public relays and are permanently accessible to anyone querying those relays. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

Membership status and game results may also be published to Nostr relays as part of normal service operation, including winner announcements.

Puzzle images, the Brundle name, and all original content are the property of WesternBTC. You may not reproduce or redistribute puzzle content without permission.

The Brundle software is built on open-source tools and the Nostr protocol. Nothing in these terms limits your use of open-source components under their respective licences.

Brundle is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy of puzzle content, or that purchased features will be available indefinitely.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WesternBTC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of Bitcoin paid for features that become unavailable.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of Brundle shall not exceed the amount you paid to WesternBTC in the 30 days preceding the claim.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Brundle. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the service you represent that you meet these age requirements.

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of Brundle after updated terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of those terms.

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
